We visualized the market and the housing as two elements that are woven and benefit each other symbiotically. The market, as a central element of the urban fabric, is a walkway, an extension of the public space, allowing a visual connection and a direct flow between the housing and the rest of the urban context. Reinforcing the spirit of a neighborhood, the street becomes the market with a soft slope, allowing access for all, connecting the vending areas with the public space. The circle and the central park give the housing units ideal orientation, always exposing one of the facades to the southern sun. The facade responds to the changes in orientation with a system of operable louvers. The housing units are based on a modular scheme, and this rhythm and repetition become the basis for the structural system.
